The Relentless Gardener Lawn Aerator has been specifically designed to make aerating your lawn easy and convenient.

Ever struggled to get the fork in the ground - the sharpened design of the tines make this tool dig in easier than ever before.

Many of the 'bog-standard' hollow tine aerators are prone to clogging up. However the design of the hollows allow the soil to slip out easily every time you take the next step.

Proud of the unrivalled, superior design

  • Hollow Tines - It's built with just 3 hollow tines. This is much easer than trying to get 5 tines into the ground like on some other designs. The tool is easy to push into the ground with one foot.
  • Easy core removal design - unlike most other designs this has a special slanted opening so that the cores come out easily as you work your way up the lawn. No messing.
  • Extra sharp slanted tines - Not only is it extremely sharp, the tines are slanted so they cut into the soil - unlike most have flat tines which are often impossible to penetrate the ground
  • 130mm tines - the hollow tines are extra long so you can get right down to the bottom of the root system - meaning you need less holes.

Why use a Hollow Tine Aerator

Aerating the lawn is one of the most crucial steps when overseeding a lawn. That's because it opens up compact soil and creates the perfect breeding ground

How To Use TRG Hollow Tine Aerator

The best way to use a hollow tine aerator is by spiking directly into the ground in rows approximately 30cm apart.

Work your way backwards so that you dont tread the released cores into the current soil.

The hollow tines will leave sausage-shaped cores on the ground. These should ideally be picked up afterwards so they don't smother the grass from recovering.

After aeration, be sure to fill the holes with a sand-based top dressing. Such as our 70/30 Top Dressing, which is 70% sand and 30% soil.

Doing so will stop the soil from compacting back up over time because teh sand will merge with the current soil.

When To Use TRG Hollow Tine Aerator

The best time to use a Hollow Tine Aerator is when the ground is damp.
