When & where to use Luxury Spring / Summer Lawn Feed

For best results, you should use this product twice a year to feed your lawn in the Spring and in Summer. This products has reduced risk of scorch because 40% of the nitrogen is coated with specialist slow release technology. Wait 2-3 months before applying again so that the the slow release nitrogen can be used up fully by the soil.

Apply when the weather is fair. It’s best to apply in the morning or evening, when the soil is moist from dew. Don’t apply if frost is forecast and be careful not to get caught by late Spring frost.

Don’t use this product if you’ve recently sown a new lawn. Use our starter lawn feed instead.

Use this product as part of a yearly programme, which should include our Autumn and Winter products as well as a liquid feed supplement boost.

When to expect seeing results from Spring / Summer lawn feed

As this contains 60% Fast Acting Nitrogen, you will see immediate growth and green up. The 40% slow release nitrogen creates a thicker lawn over a 3 month period. Meaning there won’t be any sudden boosts in growth. The best thing is that all parts of your lawn will grow at the same rate, giving a better overall look.

It’s also more convenient using a feed, which releases it’s nutrients over a sustained period (like this one) because you won’t need to feed the lawn again for another 3 months. apart from a liquid supplement booster.

Some nitrogen will be released immediately and the grass will become greener and thicker with a couple of weeks.

How to apply Spring / Summer Lawn Feed

The simplest method is using a spreader. There are a few different spreaders you can get and the most common are either hand held or a spreader with wheels if you have a large garden.

Measure out the correct area on your lawn and sprinkle the granules evenly across the marked out area. It’s a good idea to start from one corner of the lawn and work your way across.
